High precision surface exposure dating
This project focuses on improving 10Be and 26Al dating precision with the aim of resolving the rate of ice cap retreat in Scotland. The project is suited to a candidate with a physics and/or analytical chemistry background interested in developing and testing new methods of sample preparation and accelerator mass spectrometry.
There is no scholarship available for this project but all analytical costs are funded through the NERC funded ScotIce project (NE/S01120X/1)
